I have started this blog to keep those of you who are interested up-to-date on what is going on in the town of Oxford, on the Ole Miss Campus and in the Lafayette County real estate world. Because I have a sixth month old boy named JoJo, I will probably only be able to blog about once a week. So, to make sure you don’t miss an entry, subscribe to my blog to the left of this page. Here is a picture of JoJo for those of you who have not met him.

Oxford Town
The biggest event of the year in Oxford is this weekend on the Square. The Double Decker Arts Festival comes to town Saturday morning, April 25, 2009 and lasts all day. The day is filled with good food, art and music. You don’t want to miss it. I am excited because two of my friends are coming to Oxford and bringing their babies.

Ole Miss/Sports
This past weekend was the Red & Blue Game. We were all glad that the predicted forecast turned out to be wrong. No rain fell on the Grove Bowl and some people even saw some sunshine. My husband was there and had a great time talking and chatting with people about how great the Rebs are going to be this fall. He has once again predicted a National Championship. Here he is letting Greg Hardy know we are going to the big game next year.

For those of you who are interested in what the Lexington Brothers are up to…here they are from their latest show at the Belzoni Catfish Festival. They were the last ones to play the festival. Normally the biggest crowds come for the last band, however, this was not the case two Saturdays ago. Despite a small crowd and a MSU scowler, the Lexington Brothers remained spirited about Ole Miss sports and classic country.
